Nuoshi Technology unveils the Xinmou® P13, ushering in a new era of single-chip multi-color technology.
Silicon-based Micro-LED solution provider NoviTech has officially launched its single-chip, multi-color microdisplay, Chimo® P13. By leveraging a single-chip, multi-color architecture, it effectively addresses key pain points of monochrome displays, such as insufficient information richness, inadequate intuitiveness in alarm notifications, and poor visibility in complex scenarios. The commercialization of Chimo® P13 not only fills the gap in silicon‑based Micro‑LED microdisplays with single‑chip, multi‑color capabilities but also marks a pivotal milestone in NoviTech’s product portfolio.

The Xinmou® P13 is built on an existing mass‑produced driver backplane and WLVSP® pixel‑stacking technology, featuring a 0.13‑inch display with a 4 μm subpixel pitch. It supports several resolutions—640×240, 320×480, and 320×240—tailored to customer needs, and offers a color scheme with red–green pixel pairing. In terms of physical dimensions and pin‑out configuration, it remains fully compatible with existing 0.13‑inch monochrome microdisplays, ensuring maximum compatibility with current end‑device applications and unlocking the full interactive potential of existing 0.13‑inch AR‑glasses hardware platforms.
In terms of performance, the Xinmou® P13 achieves a red‑light peak EQE of 5% and delivers approximately 3 lm of yellow light under 25% APL conditions. Additionally, the product’s module design and interfaces are fully customizable, enabling it to meet a wide range of customer requirements. The accompanying light engine, the Xinmou® P13E, measures just 0.15 cc and is fully compatible with existing 0.15‑cc monochromatic light engines, ensuring seamless compatibility with end‑device eyewear frames.
At the application‑level, traditional monochrome displays can only render a single‑tone image. In scenarios where multiple types of information—such as navigation, real‑time teleprompting, stock market updates, and calendar reminders—must be presented simultaneously, text, icons, and alert notifications all appear in the same color, making it difficult for users to quickly discern information priorities. By contrast, the Xinmou® P13’s single‑chip stacked red‑green dual‑color architecture elegantly addresses this challenge through color‑layered differentiation: green is used to highlight routine content like standard navigation routes, textual prompts, and basic market data, while red emphasizes critical alerts such as route deviations, risk warnings, volatile stocks, and urgent appointments, ensuring clear visual hierarchy at a glance. Moreover, the red and green hues can blend into yellow, further aligning with everyday usage habits while maintaining the layered color scheme.

The launch of the Xinmou® P13 fills a long‑standing gap in the microdisplay industry: monochrome solutions lack sufficient information‑richness, while full‑color light‑combining approaches suffer from sharply rising power consumption, size, and cost. By adopting a single‑chip multi‑color architecture, Nuoshi Technology precisely targets this middle ground, endowing displays with layered color differentiation without compromising miniaturization or energy efficiency. This represents not only an advancement in technical specifications but also a qualitative leap, transforming microdisplay products from simply “lighting up” to delivering a truly “readable” user experience.
Currently, the Xinmou® P13 product has entered small‑batch mass production and is already engaged in deep collaborations with numerous downstream companies. The company will continue to focus on iterative innovation in silicon‑based Micro‑LED microdisplay and optical communication technologies, steadily expanding its product portfolio, accelerating the rapid deployment and large‑scale production of multiple high‑performance products, and continuously empowering key sectors such as near‑eye displays, digital lighting, and optical communications, thereby supporting the high‑quality development of both upstream and downstream industries. At the same time, the company will remain committed to fostering strategic B‑to‑B partnerships, leveraging resources across the industry chain to drive collaborative innovation and promote the optimization and upgrading of comprehensive solutions for the microdisplay and optical communication sectors.
