Industry Breakthrough! Our Company Has Made Significant Progress in Vertical Stacking of Micro-LED Pixels.

Our company has recently successfully launched the VSP (vertically stacked pixels) process flow, realizing the single-chip integration of AlGaInP and GaN material systems. This technology adopts the WLVSP (wafer level vertically stacked pixels) technology solution. After completing the preparation of AlGaInP red micro-display chips, it continues to stack InGaN wafer materials, which can achieve vertical stacking of pixels on a single driving backplane.


This is another major milestone in VSP technology for our company after lighting up 0.39" and the world's smallest 0.12" RGB micro-display chips, fully verifying the feasibility of INNOVISION's VSP technology solution. It is worth noting that VSP technology has the advantage of compatibility with large-size wafers. Earlier this year, our company completed the R&D and tape-out of 8-inch silicon-based Micro-LED micro-display chips, verifying the feasibility of large-scale wafer production using VSP technology and completing relevant technical reserves. According to calculations, this technical route can significantly reduce the cost issues that Micro LED urgently needs to address.
